Description
RF Lesion Generator with output for both the conventional continuous application of RF (for heat lesions) and for the Pulsed Radiofrequency Lesion (PRF) procedures.

Radiofrequency ablation procedures can be performed percutaneously, intraoperatively, or laparoscopically, depending on the physicians discretion. Radiofrequency ablation is an excellent alternative or adjunct therapy for patients with non-resectable liver lesions who may otherwise be unable to be successfully treated with surgery or chemotherapy.

Radionics is a pioneer in the development of radiofrequency (RF) lesion generators. The RF lesion generators were among the first Radionics commercial products, and they are currently used in Neurosurgery, Pain Management, and Interventional Radiology.
In 2002, Radionics transferred all RF products and RF pain management to Valleylab.
