This unit powers on but will not recognize any probes that are plugged into it. If there isn't a probe plugged in then it will not allow you to get into settings or anything like that to check for PHI or test the item. Eventually some type of storage device error screen comes up (see pictures) and completely makes the unit unusable until you reset it. Sold As-Is
